Admission Notice has been sent to children who will enter elementary/junior high school in April

● Admission Notice 

On January 26 (Thu), the Sapporo City Board of Education sent admission notices to households with children who are going to enter elementary/junior high schools in April 2023.

The envelope includes the following items:

1．An admission notice

2．Translation (in English, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese)

3．Useful Information for Foreign Parents

  

＜If you have received the envelope＞

・Go to the designated school on April 3 with the admission notice and complete the enrollment procedure. If you are unable to go on April 3, contact the school to arrange another date.

・If you need help with communication, you can use “Sapporo Community Interpreters”. To make an application, contact your school or Sapporo International Communication Plaza/ Sapporo Help Desk for Foreign Residents.

・If you change your address, go to a private school, or enroll in another school, contact the Sapporo City Board of Education (011-211-3851) or Sapporo City Call Center (011-222-4894 *Languages: Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean).

If you have not received the envelope, contact the Sapporo City Board of Education (011-211-3851) or Sapporo City Call Center (011-222-4894 *Languages: Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean).

※Elementary School Enrollment Eligibility: Children born between April 2, 2016 and April 1, 2017

Every year from late January to late February, public elementary schools hold a one-day enrollment for children and school orientation for parents. Please attend that, too.
